The Conklin Pen Company was established in 1898 during the golden era of fountain pens and is still regarded as one of the most prominent pen manufacturers today. During the Great Depression, Conklin launched a collection that was priced to be affordable to the public. The All American collection was offered in a variety of sizes, filling mechanisms, and finishes, with the aim of satisfying the demand for high-quality writing instruments. Inspired by Conklin’s original models and the rich heritage of the brand, the new All American collection balances classic and contemporary to create timeless designs. 

Crafted from handmade European high-grade resin, the All American is developed to bring comfort and durability, with a carefully tapered cap and barrel. The All American Limited Edition Demo Rosegold pays homage to the vintage Conklin era. The cap top features a “rocker style” clip. The barrel is engraved with the Conklin trademark and All American logo. 

Premium Jowo Nibs

 Choices include extra-fine, fine, medium, broad, or Omniflex,. The Omniflex allows users to choose their individual line. Each stainless steel Cushion Point nib displays the brand name and is marked with special crescent-shaped breathing holes. Conklin’s quality control team tests each nib individually to ensure top-quality writing performance. 

Three Ways to Write!

The fountain pen uses our ColoradoPen international cartridges. A converter is included for bottle inks. As a special bonus, an eyedropper is included for filling the barrel of the pen itself. It holds up to 5ml of ink!

Take a step back in time with the new Conklin Endura. The Conklin Pen Company, established in 1898, originally released the ever successful Endura in 1924. The Endura Abalone Limited Edition showcases design as one of Conklin’s additional attributes. The Limited Edition is just 1,898 pieces. The previous Rosegold edition sold out within weeks. Please don’t hesitate on this Gunmetal version if you are at all thinking about adding it to your collection.

The Endura Abalone uses the highly iridescent inner mother of pearl layer of authentic abalone shell from New Zealand. The pen’s body glistens as light passes over its finish. You will find yourself spinning the pen for entertainment. Writing is almost secondary.

The shell of abalone has traditionally been used in jewelry, buttons, and as an inlay in furniture and in musical instruments. The inner shell is a swirl of intense colors, ranging from deep cobalt blue and peacock green to purples, creams, and pinks. The body is hand-turned and hand-polished. 

The pen’s trim features Gunmetal plating on the clip and band. There are only 1898 pieces available in fountain and ballpoint. The fountain pen has a black JoWo stainless steel nib personalized with the Conklin name, the historic “Toledo, USA” mark, and a special crescent-shaped breathing hole. The stainless steel nib with iridium tip is both smooth and dependable, available in extra fine, fine, medium, broad, stub and Omniflex. The Conklin Pen Company is proud to unveil the Limited Edition Duraflex™ Demonstrator. A translucent pen that features the dazzling inner workings of the Duraflex. Inspired by and named after past salesman aid tools to ‘demonstrate’ their products. 

Machined to perfection using strong handmade clear resin, each pen is substantial in size with an embellished flat-top design that displays the Conklin Est.1898 logo, while the band bears the famous Conklin® model script and crescents. Each pen is tastefully engraved with the collection name and limited edition number alongside the barrel. The pen has a threaded cap that unscrews and can post on the end of the barrel. The pen can use a standard international ink cartridge or the included converter. Each Duraflex™ pen is one of a kind, created to highlight the everlasting beauty of writing with a fountain pen. 

Stunning Herringbone Mesmerizes

The Conklin Pen Company’s exclusive Herringbone series combines vintage appeal with a modern bold style and elegance. Made from solid metal, the barrel displaying the unique Herringbone pattern is achieved by using a very precise computerized engraving machine to cut a deep pattern into the barrel. This elegant pattern, reminiscent of the vintage Conklin crescent shaped pens, is seen underneath a special translucent colored lacquer and then, coated with several layers of epoxy for protection, durability and vibrancy. 

The collection offers a choice of twocolors, Burgundy or Navy Blue. The durable chromium clip is engraved with the legendary Conklin trademarked name and font. The center ring is engraved with the Herringbone name and surrounded by four Conklin crescent shapes to each side. The fountain pen fills via standard cartridge or converter (which is included) and is available in three nib size options. The matching twist-action ballpoint is perfectly balanced and fills with standard Parker Style refills.

90 Years of History
Did you know that the Heritage Word Gauge™ Collection evolved from another famous Conklin® pen? The Word Gauge began as a variation of the classic Conklin Nozac. The Nozac, a collection released in 1931, took the world by storm with their patented American made piston-filler system. This ‘no sac’ design gave the company great advantage over its competition, boasting an attractive slogan, “The pen that winds like a watch.” Due to their successes, some of the later models came affixed with an opaque window to view your ink level.

 In hopes of further demonstrating the great ink supply of its pens, Conklin® designed the Nozac Word Gauge™ in 1932. Featuring a similar design, the Word Gauge’s opaque window came engraved with numbered gradations to indicate how many words could be written with the remaining ink. By giving the user a visible ink supply and a gauge, an estimate could be made on how long the ink would continue to flow before the pen needed to be refilled.

Now featuring a modern design with alluring colors, the Heritage Word Gauge™ boasts a transparent window in the barrel of each pen, a truly unique feature exclusively available with this collection. Each Word Gauge comes with a built-in piston-filling system for, “straight out of the bottle ink filling”. Simply dip your nib into the ink bottle and twist the piston located at the back end of the pen body. Filling your pen directly from a bottle allows limitless ink choices!

Each Word Gauge™ is made from strong, unique resin and is available in three stunning colors: Black with sleek Gunmetal accents, Blue or Turquoise, both paired with chrome trim. Along the front of each barrel is the name of the collection, tastefully engraved. Word Gauge is available in Extra Fine, Fine, Medium or OmniFlex™.
